Cindy Huang, Founder, C&D Pet Studio

The founding of C&D Pet Studio is rooted in a warm and touching story of selfless love and dedication. It all began with Cindy, our founder, and her beloved cat, Huhu. After undergoing ear tumour surgery in Korea, Huhu experienced severe trauma that drastically altered her temperament, becoming unpredictable and highly aggressive. No hospital was willing to help, but Cindy remained undeterred.

When Cindy’s child moved to Canada for school, she saw an opportunity. She decided to accompany her child and simultaneously learn pet grooming, with the hope of one day providing personal care for Huhu to alleviate her suffering. This journey of love and determination led to the establishment of C&D Pet Grooming & Services, where we provide the same level of care and compassion to all our furry clients.

Inspired by Canada’s love for animals, Cindy found the courage to start a new life. She was inspired by the way people respected and treated animals and decided to start her own pet grooming business. While working in this field, Cindy noticed that many pets, like her own cat Huhu, didn’t enjoy grooming and often showed signs of stress and fear. This made her want to learn more. Cindy studied pet grooming and took a course to become a veterinary assistant. She gained a lot of experience working in a veterinary hospital and learned that many pets’ stress and aggressive behaviours are due to fear and anxiety.

C&D Pet Grooming & Services was born from this understanding. We believe that pets are  inherently good, and their bad behaviour often comes from fear. At C&D Pet Grooming & Services, we aim to provide professional care and love to all pets, helping them live happy and dignified lives.
